Gift wrap message is \ escaped

Thanks for a great plugin!

Only thing is, when I (or a user) enters a message that includes an apostrophe, it appears escaped in the basket with a \, like this:

Here\’s a test message

Can that escaping be hidden from the user? I know why it’s needed, but it would be better not shown, wouldn’t it? ??
