• I’m using the Gila Theme which comes with both left and right sidebars. I want to remove the right sidebar and have the main text flow across the entire page. I removed all references to the right sidebar from sidebar.php yet the main text still doesn’t flow all the way across. Checked the codex, the gila site and the support threads and couldn’t find wisdom. Any advice?

  • I just checked the site from your name link, if that is the one you are referring to, and the sidebars are still there. Maybe you mean on the single post look. Anyway, you have a couple of options. One, choose a theme that doesn’t use two sidebars. There are a lot of them. Two, when you change one reference, you have to change all references. Look at the CSS style references that hold your content. There may be one or more of them. These have to be resized for their margins and padding to accomodate the increased width.

This might help you located them:
