    Random question, if I download the Latest release from the GitHub repo, will I receive updates?

    Thanks for reaching out.

    Downloading the latest release from the GitHub repository and installing it on your WordPress site will still allow you to receive updates within your WordPress dashboard.

    The built code zips are functionally identical regardless of where you obtain them. WordPress automatically checks for updates by comparing the plugin version on your site with the version available on www.ads-software.com. If your local version is outdated, you’ll be notified to update accordingly.
