Give badges manually by admin and send email to user

    Hi,
    I am building a site that has also the ultimate member plugin installed, and I want admins to reward the users when they submit a form with a video, but the admin will chose the best videos to reward them, so not all users will be rewarded, I have tried the bulk award tool and it works, although it doesn’t send an email to the user to let them know they got an award for their submission, is it possible to send emails when the admin uses the bulk award tool to give them the award on the backend? or would any add on be able to do that through a notification or email.

    Hi @anakaren96

    I would be more than happy to assist you today.

    It is possible to inform the user when the Adminsitrator has massively assigned him/her achievements, ranks or points.
    So you may have this option disabled, but you can enable this option from GamiPress->Settings->Emails->Emails Templates.

    thank you for your response. I just checked the settings and that opction is enabled and still the emails aren’t sent. Is there other configurations or anything else that could cause the issue?

    I realized the emails are sent only when the user performs an action to get them, when I assign points or ranks through the admin panel, the users don’t get notified.

    Hi @anakaren96.

    GamiPress sends emails when the user completes actions to obtain points, ranks or achievements.
    If you want the user to receive emails when the Administrator assigns ranks and achievements, you will have to do it from GamiPress->Tools->General->Bulk Awards->Achievement/Ranks.
    The only thing is that when the Administrator assigns points through this tool no emails are sent to the users.
    But it is something that we are going to add as a suggestion to study it and if it is feasible we will develop it in the future.
