Give permissions to view email log

I?know this question was answered 2 years ago, but since we are bumping into it ourselves, thought I would see if it is available now.

Is there a way to give users permission to just view the email log (not manage any settings of Post SMTP). This is something that would be very helpful so people managing user interactions can view what has been sent to the user.
