    Hi

    Yeah I know, no issues.Hehehe

It worked prior to me giving WP its own root directory. Now its shot.

I dont know what to make of it.

My version of FF is 1.5.8 (apple) and as I said it was working fine in both FF and Opera before I made the switch with the index.pho file and htaccess file.

But it’s working fine…. are you sure you cleared your browser cache and so on? Any time you actually “view” a feed in the browser, you’re going to get the “unstyled” message….

Well, I am use to Safari, which apparently has a feed reader built into it. Firefox doesn’t. I was not expecting that. So, how does anyone using FireFox see my recent posts.

Could I email you a screen shot of what I am looking at? If so, send a short letter to ayerstcarr at earthlink dot net and I will respond with a few screenshots.

Otherwise, let me ask this –

How can anyone using Firefox make sense out of the feeds of the feeds are converted to html? Suppose the whole world were using FF? What point would there be in subscribing to RSS feeds when you cannot view them in FF.

Anyway, if you are curious I will send you 2 screenshots.

    Thanks

When FF grabs a feed for me it does so in livefeed (I think it’s called – I don’t do feeds overmuch and don’t pay much attention). Sending screenies isn’t going to help.

Try using an actual feed reader? T’bird has one in-built….

[BTW, folks who want feeds from your site are using feedreaders of some sort, and will most likely not have a problem…. you can’t diagnose what your feeds are doing using a browser….]

You are so smart. Of course. I suppose I should have looked at like that.

As it is, this was just the push I needed to drive my feeds through Feedburner. So all’s well that ends well. And thanks for your help.

Well, no – you wouldn’t have maybe known to do that since you’d previously used a browser which also acted as a feed reader.

It’s sometimes difficult to even figure out what functionality is missing/has changed when migrating. But the bottom line of course is that it works to give your readers what is needed.

Could you mark as resolved up top then, if that’s it, please and thanks?
