    Hi;
I have changed the “Reading” settings; “Blog Post show at most” from 10 to 7 posts and “Syndication feed show the most recent” from 10 to 7 items BUT those changes are not reflecting when I am log out. Those changes are working only when I am log in.

I cleared my cache, my browser cache but no joy. These changes are only working when I am still log in in my site. After I log out; these changes are turn back to their original state which is 10 posts and 10 items.

    Thanks in advance.

  • Hello @brs76,

I fully examined the issue you have raised on this topic and could not see it on my end.

How can we replicate your steps to arrive at the issue on a fresh WordPress installation? Also, would you please provide us with some screenshots or short video and images of the errors you faced step by step?

You can upload your files to one of the following online services:
    https://postimages.org
    https://imgbb.com
    https://loom.com
    https://drive.google.com

Since OceanWP doesn’t affect the default settings of WordPress, perhaps you have plugins that made that conflict. In the meantime, if possible, perform a basic troubleshooting checkup method and make sure the issue is related to our theme or plugin(s). To do this, deactivate all other plugins, then activate them one by one and check for this issue. Continue doing this until you find out what product is causing a conflict with our product. Then provide the details as explained above.

    Please keep us posted,
    Thank you,

    Best Regards

Hi there and thank you for your reply.
I deactivated all plugins and record the video as you requested. You can see the video at this link: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1gA7AcfSUq80enoUSXd63SlZnHVkjm7H9/view?usp=drive_link

As you see from the video all plugins are deactivated.
When I am already logged in and changed the “Reading” settings; “Blog Post show at most” from 10 to 7 posts and “Syndication feed show the most recent” from 10 to 7, the site is having 3 pages in the blog archive. But when I log out and re-check, the blog archive shows 2 pages again. You can see it from the screen recording.

    Hello @brs76,

Those options aren’t related to our products. Also, the option you change works correctly:
The first is set to 10: https://postimg.cc/NyBCkRZz
This is the last post here: https://postimg.cc/LqWf8pk3
Then you change it to 7: https://postimg.cc/XXdF4tr9
The last post changes and the number of navigable pages increases: https://postimg.cc/7fcfzVJq

I did not notice any problem in the above cases. The options work as expected.

The fact that you cannot see the changes in the logged-out mode is only because of the cache(https://postimg.cc/JD4kxhr8), which is affecting your site very strongly. Our products do not affect their performance.

In case you continue to experience issues even after clearing all level caches, it is advisable to reach out to your web host’s support team for assistance.

Dear Shahin; I recorded a video.
Unfortunetly this glitch is only occuring at Desktop view and at 1st page. I deactivate LS cache, erase browser cache.

If you check landi,ng page of the site (which is Post Archive) from your mobile, you will see 3 pages. BUT when you check from your desktop it is 2 pages. The weird thing is happening when you click to next page. When you click page 2, you will see that the total page now becomes 3 pages.

I record the video and here is the link.

    Hello @brs76,

Just disabling the LightSpeed plugin is not enough.
Kindly contact your hosting provider and explain the issue to them. Then, request that they check the issue for you.

The serverside clearing cache has worked like charm.

    You’re most welcome.
    I’m glad it is resolved.
