Glitches? Links sending people to porn sites?

    I love this plugin. It does exactly what I need it to do and it does it pretty flawlessly. But as of late I’ve been running into issues. I’ve gotten reports from several Twitter followers that sometimes the links that SNAP generates take them to porn/malicious sites. I haven’t been using a url shortener. And when I click on the reported links, they work fine–which makes me think that this only happens occasionally/at random…

    I have no idea what I could do to avoid this problem in the future. Are you aware of this happening to anyone else? The Twitter account using it is @FactionHub. Will using a url shortener solve the problem?

    Any help would be nice, as this is sort of a serious problem…

    The link is a link. There is no way that the same link could send people to the different places.

    There are 3 possibilities:

    1. People have computers infected with malicious software that manipulates clicked links.

    2. Your website is infected with malicious software that redirects your visitors to porn/malicious sites.

    3. [The most probable cause] Your hosting provider is infected with malicious software that captures all server incoming traffic and randomly redirects incoming hits from social networks to porn/malicious sites.

    During the lifetime of the plugin we saw #3 twice.
