Global Checkout for Logged in users

    Hello,

    The global checkout option works fine for new visiotrs as per settings doc here:https://cartflows.com/docs/global-checkout/

    However for returning users OR those that create an account and login to pay for products via there account area the checkout is not using the global checkout flow.

    To give you an example, if a new visitor goes through the checkout but never places the order and then returns, logs in and then clicks the pay butoon link from the account area the checkout is NOT the global checkout. Doesnt work.

    Same with the thank you page. it doesnt use one configured with the global checkout.

    Seems like a core part of the flow is missing. Surly global checkout should be used site wide regardless of if its a new visitor OR a returning visitor who makes a purchase via there account?

    How can this be fixed?

    Thank you for getting in touch with us!

    Actually, the CartFlows is designed to create the sales funnels which will be used via a proper checkout process.

    But in the customer’s account area the buy now button has a link of default WooCommerce checkout page and that setting is not modified by the CartFlows.

    So, if the user proceed to buy by clicking the buy button from the account section then he will be redirected to the default WooCommerce’s checkout page.

    thanks for the update.

    Will that be something in the works for a future update? it would be ideal to have the funnels and global checkout for the account area too…

    Actually, we don’t have such a plan in the CartFlows, but I will consider this as a future request and we will try to add it in the CartFlows.
