Global comment removal issue

  • I have followed other directions found on this forum to remove the ability to add comments to the blog, and also to remove text about comments generated in each post.

    After all has been said and done, there is still a “no comments” link at the top of each post on the main blog page that takes you to an add comment box T

    The “add comment” link disappears when an individual post is clicked and displayed, though.

    Edit – i noticed that the first post has comments enabled when clicked on, and others do not…

    Tried deleting comment-related files, and nothing!

    After taking one more round at deleting comment-related code in page and post files, it finally worked. I would not recommend this though, because if I decide to enable comments in the future, I have no idea how…
