• Hi.
    I have a multisite install with sub-directories. (network.com/site1, network.com/site2)
I installed WordPress MU Domain Mapping to map network.com/site1 to site1.com etc.
I have a site that I use to login for the entire network (network.com/loginsite) mapped to loginsite.com
I use the plugin Multisite User Management to create a role for new users in all of my network’s sites.

If a user is logged in one site, he is also logged in all NOT-domain-mapped sites, but he is not logged in domain-mapped sites. How can I achieve the user to be logged in all network’s sites (mapped and not-mapped)?

I thought it was possible to do it with your plugin (remote login).
If not, do you know how to achieve this?

    Thank you so much.
    Riccardo

I thought it was possible to do it with your plugin (remote login).

The remote login feature logs you into the domain where you log in & the main site’s domain.

The reason the plugin does not support global domain logins is that if you have a large network with a substantial number of mapped domains it adds a significant load on the server.

    Hi Ron,
Thank you for your answer. Eventually, do you know how to create a global login?
I ask, just in case you know something that can help.

    Thank you.

I don’t recommend a global login due to the performance issue (which you will notice with even a few domains).

Thank you Ron for your advice, but I really need Global Login.
    I’ll find a solution elsewhere.

Thank you for all your answers.

Riccardoperello, if you really need premium features, you could check out https://premium.wpmudev.org/project/domain-mapping/
I can’t really afford the price, but if you could, it’s worth it.:)

    Thank you, mkthefeathers!
I already tried their multi-domains plugin that has Global Login feature. https://premium.wpmudev.org/project/multi-domains/

But it does not work with subdirectories installation, just subdomains. ?? and sadly, I have a subdirectory installation.

    Thanks anyway.
