Global Meta titles for “Archives” not working as the default

    Hello. We have a problem with our woocommerce product arthive and wordpress post archive meta titles.

    Via the plugin menu. (SEO > Titles & Metas > Post Types) at the bottom of the page we have “Custom Post Type Archives” and a default meta title set. *as seen in the screenshot attached* no matter what we set the title to, it does not show up and take affect on the archive pages.

    I disabled all our plugins on a test site and it did not solve the problem.

    This archive “post type” seems to be missing options (also seen in screenshot)

    How do we fix this so that the global default for archive meta titles actually works?

    Can you please confirm whether you can see the force rewrite titles option from the Yoast SEO -> Titles & Metas -> General (tab)? If yes, if you turn on the force rewrite titles option, does this resolves the issue?

    Sorry im not seeing that option, it appears it does not exist in the general tab.

    We are using yoast seo premium, latest version.

    You can close this, we were looking in “post types” when we should of been looking in “taxonomies”
