Global product variations

My client would like the ability to add a new product and select the possible variations that a customer can purchase. I understand how global attributes work but my client will still have to enter the price for each product variation..

My client is a photographer and sells his products with many different option for example, framed, unframed, canvas ect. As the variation prices our the same we he would like to just select each product variation that can be purchased on a new pictures he adds to the store I hope that makes sense!
