Hi, I have the paid version and was wondering if there was a way to manage the whole multisite network roles and capabilities.

I have noticed that as I don’t have WooCommerce turned on my main site, I cannot edit its roles. I have to go to the particular site with WooCommerce. I wanted to create universal roles for all my sites.

When I tried that from the main site and updated network, it actually removed plugin specific roles for the site that had the plugins activated, I then had to readd them to that particular site.

Would be great if there was a way to pull in all roles and capabilities available across all sites so I can manage them globally.

    Hi Shaun,

It’s better to use this forum
    https://www.role-editor.com/forums
for the questions related to the Pro version.

Pro version currently allows to edit roles of the main site under “Network Admin” and then replicate them with one click to all subsites. If you have different roles between subsites, then “Network Update” button is not for you. Roles at subsite are overwritten with roles from the main site during network update operation.

I’m opened for suggestions how to extend/enhance plugin functionality. If you have more detailed vision about global roles management for WP multisite we may continue this thread at Pro version forum or via email.
