    Hello,
I have a website with members containing private informations and public ones in their profiles. For the private fields only the member and the admin can see those fields on the front end. And that’s working well.

But if I go on the website without being connected and make a search in the global search on the member directory the search don’t use the private fields that don’t show on the site (that is logic).
But if I’m connected as a regular member and make the same search the result is different because the search is looking into the fields that are private (and not show to public or other members).
Anyone had the same problem ?
How can I fix that ?
    Thank you
    Regards

    Hi @marc_o

    Sorry for the late response.

Could you please tell me if you’re still encountering this with the latest version of Ultimate Member?

Please feel free to re-open this thread if there’s any question that may come up.

    Hello,

    Thank you for your answer.
Yes the bug is still there in the last version.
If I search a member logged as one member the results are looking into fields that should be private but if I do a search not being logged on the website I got the results as they should be (exluding from the search the private fields).
    Regards
