Global settings for flipboard not working

I had to delete and re-setup our flipboard magazine because the posts look terrible, by default the posts are tagged with title, excerpt and url, this is totally unneccesary on flipboard and makes the posts look terrible, and why would one even want to include an URL in the post ?

When i remove the tags from the global settings they are still there if i go to an individual post for manually reporsting, also, the auto reposts retain the default tag format no matter what i do.
