I noticed that Zakra does not apply Global Typography in the built-in WordPress Block Editor.

Specifiacally, on the frontend Global Typography is applied within ‘zakra-style-inline-css’, which rewrite default settings in style*.css files. But in the Editor this inline css is missing.

Is it intendend behavior or a bug?
If this is intended, is there a safe way to manually fix it?

P.S. The option ‘Use theme styles” is enabled in the editor’s settings.
P.P.S. By the way, the Zakra icon in the editor’s options side panel is HUGE. Could you fix that?

    Hi @bibelwort ,

    Thanks for writing us.

The Global Typography from the theme will not be applied to the Blockeditor, you need to set the global typography of the WordPress block editor, could you please let us know that if you are using any blockeditor, or the defualt WP Block editor.

    Regards!

    Hi @rohitkc32,

I am using default WordPress Block Editor and as far as I know it has no UI for setting its Global Typography..
It would be nice to have consistent style between the Editor and the Frontend as much as posible.

Since, you are using default WordPress Editor, then the typography from Customizer should reflect. Please share the screnshot of the typography, so I can look into it and provide you with appropriate solution.

I have set Raleway font for Headings and body text in the Customizer for a test page.
Here you can see this page in the editor and how it looks at frontend. Also I have opened the devtools to show the applied styles in both cases:

    Hi @rohitkc32,

the font is active only on the FRONTEND, but not in the EDITOR.
Could you please look again at the file ‘editor_devtools.png’ in my shared onedrive folder which I referenced before?

My concern is about Zakra Global Typography in the default WordPress Gutenberg Block Editor.

    Hi @bibelwort,

I understand your situation, however the customizer’s setting option will only apply to the frontend, of the site. The Customizer’s setting generally do not modify the backend(WordPress Editor) appearance.

By default, the WordPress editor uses the default WordPress typography and styling.

Let me know if the above information helps or not, and I will get back to you.
    Regards!
