glossary links 404 error

I set up tooltip glossary with glossary index page ID = to the page i want the glossary to be on. Glossary Terms Permalink is glossary. I inputted the terms and definitions and everything looks fine. I go to the page that glossary is on and all the terms and links are there alphabetically but when i click on them i get a 404 page not found error. I assume there is something wrong in my set up. any suggestions?

one other question if i put anything on the page it sets it above the list of terms. is there any way to put those elements below the list of terms?
