• Hi there,

I would like to know if it is better to have a Glossary page on my site to briefly describe all industry-specific terms or to have individual posts for each of those terms?

I want to do this in a way so that I would be able to link those terms whenever and wherever they appear on my site.

I would like the solution to be SEO friendly (i.e., featured/rich snippets, FAQ blocks, etc) also.

    Please advice.

    Thank you.

  • In my opinion, a glossary page along with a single page/post is the right solution. Also having an archive page for each term (category/tag) can be good too. In the end, it’s not about the amount of content, but its quality. The idea is to provide visitors quick access to what they are looking for.

    Hi @idob1978

    Thank you for your message.

Would you recommend a plugin for creating the Glossary page or should I do it manually?

And if I create a Glossary page, how do I get those technical terms to appear as tooltips on individual posts where those terms appear?

Also, can I put multiple FAQ blocks on one Glossary page?

My theme has the archive option disabled and so I don’t know how I can utilize that.
