GM to WP *and* moving to new server..

  • Hello,
    I would like to switch from GM to WP. The only problem is that I’m also moving to a new web host. I’ve installed WP on the new host, and it’s running fine. Of course, GM is installed on my old host, and the WP importer will only work if the two are installed on the same server.
    Is there any way to import the GM stuff on the other server, or will I have to move GM to my new host with GP, and then import it. I think I know the answer to this, but I just wanted to check because it will be a bit of a pain to do lol. ??

  • You’d probably want to move your Grey Matter stuff to the new server, then doing the import to WordPress. Or, you can do the import on your old server, then move WordPress to the new server. Either way, it’ll work – I think in the same amount of time, too.
