GMail adds extra Tags

I have been working on an email template for new Posts and can’t get GMail to play nicely with it. Gmail adds in a paragraph inside of a cell after almost every cell that is supposed to be there. Because of this it throws off the design. However, Outlook client and Outlook.com do not add the extra paragraph tags and looks correct.

When I use this exact same table through a different service it works fine. It seems to be something with WordPress or Email Subscribers.

Any way to fix this?
