gmail settings

I set up your plugin but cannot send test emails and my contact form is not reaching its gmail destination.

With or without SSL / TLS 465 / 587.

So, I have been researching.

Should my gmail account IMAP settings be enabled ?

Should I add my gmail address to my server ?

Are there any other settings I should be concerned with ?

Should there be any changes to my DNS records, etc. ?
