hi, I’m trying to set SMTP mailer with Gmail.

I create gmail api credentials successful.

I click the button [Authorization] in wp-smtp setting page, and login with gmail and verified my app.

I clicked the link [go to wpmailsmtp.com], and on the next page, clicked?Continue.

but the problem is below step.

browser redirect to my wp site index.php not admin setting page.

I checked [network]tab in chrome browser, and find the url for redirect.

    https://mysitedomain/wp-admin/options-general.php?page=wp-mail-smtp&tab=auth&state=772a944dab-primary&code=[code remove]

I think this is invalid url as WP redirect to index page.

auth tab is not appear in my wp-smtp setting page.

    how can I authorize????

    Hi, @wsj7389!

Thanks for reaching out, and I’m sorry for the trouble!

Please kindly know, that the URL for redirect is valid.

It looks like there is a third-party plugin conflict that breaks the mailer authorization flow.

Please, follow this guide on how to test for theme or plugin conflicts (the guide is for WPForms plugin, but the steps will be the same for WP Mail SMTP).

    Kind regards.
