Gmail stopped working after update (connection timed out)

  • Hey,

    since I uploaded your plugin last week, no mails get being forwarded anymore from all my WordPresses (LangweileDich.net, serieslyAWESOME.tv and Feel-free-to.be). It always says “connection timed out”. Tried changing the ports, but none work, testing shows that all are open but can’t be reached. Didn’t change anything with Google, data seems to be intact there. First two pages run over one paid Google Suite account, the last one on it’s own – all stopped working. ??

    Do you happen to have any idea on why this could be? Couldn’t find anyone else having the same problem yet…

    Did you try to talk to your hosting support? sometimes this issue comes because of a server or firewall.

    Please share the “Send a test email” logs here.

    I talked to them shortly but they didn’t know of anything that could have been accountable for this behavior. ??

    Here’s the log from the “send a test mail”:

    smtp:tls:oauth2://smtp.gmail.com:25

    (That’s all there is in the transcript. It only states “Connection timed out” as the Status. SMTP sockets are all open but can’t connect.)
