• Hi, I installed GeneratePress, and it was great. I had options to tweak the font and more. But then, I went to WP Appearance > GeneratePress and Reset it.

    After that:
    1. I do not see the option to choose Floats or Flexbox.
    2. I do not see the familiar options in Customize > General.
    3. The Customize > Typography option is entirely changed from the first time round. It’s different now, and I see buttons to ADD FONT, ADD TYPOGRAPHY. Earlier, it was better with lots of options.

Please help me. I was one step away from getting the Premium version, as this theme looks great. But then, I messed up. Can you please show me how to remove all traces of this theme and start fresh? I already deleted the theme, but when I reinstalled it, the previous settings (not the one of the very first time) returned.

I have the knowledge to access my web hosting’s file manager and remove the concerned files. Just help me remove all traces of GeneratePress from my website and hosting. After that, I will install a fresh copy and hopefully get all the initial features.

    Thank you.

Here are screenshots of when I am customizing this theme. Please see the General and Typography sections:

    Hi there,

    1. I do not see the option to choose?Floats?or?Flexbox.
In the latest version of the theme it is always Flexbox.
Floats was the legacy grid system GP used, which was deprecated to Flexbox. That option would have only be present in an older install of the theme

    2. I see no issue with the General tab, that is how the latest free theme looks.

    3. the latest version of the theme uses Dynamic Typography, see here:
    https://docs.generatepress.com/article/dynamic-typography-overview/
It has more options then the old version

Got it. Thank you very much, David, for the clarification. ??

Can you please help me with these additional queries:

    1. How do I hide the featured image from showing at the top of each blog post?

    2. What Additional CSS should I use to center the caption text of the images in GeneratePress? (I am using the Classic editor)

    3. I have chosen to underline all links (General > Underline Links). But I want only the links inside a blog post body to be underlined. I do not want links in the sidebar, menus, author names, tags, etc. to be underlined. Is there a way to do that?

    4. And more importantly, what Additional CSS should I use to change the color of underlined links? Currently, all links have a black underline. I want to make them red. Secondly, I also want to increase the thickness of the underline and also make them a bit down the word (I mean, currently, they almost stick to the word; I want the underline to go down by a few pixels.)

Thank you very much for your support.

Can you raise new topics for each of the separate questions as it will help us to be more concise in our answers.
