• 1. Can no longer add blocks. 2. Disabled Gutenberg and when trying to reinstall Gutenberg: It looks like any old Plugin no one wants, looking at ratings. Googled, yes it was the indeed the plugin created by the WordPress group somehow. 3. This is crazy. 4. Question: What plugin do I need to build my site in blocks, do I need WordPress built in stuff or can I just go with WordPress Business and install like Elementor? Very confusing.

    Hi @webofsigns

Question: What plugin do I need to build my site in blocks, do I need WordPress built in stuff or can I just go with WordPress Business and install like Elementor?

The block editor is built into WordPress, and no plugin is needed to build your site with core WordPress blocks. The Gutenberg plugin is needed only to use experimental features that are not yet included in WordPress core.

That said, it sounds like you need some support with your site, rather than wanting to review the Gutenberg plugin. You mentioned “WordPress Business,” which is a plan offered by WordPress.com. If your site is indeed hosted on WordPress.com, then you can get personalized support here while logged into your WordPress.com account:

The support team over there will be glad to help you sort things out and provide the guidance you need.
