Goals scored with a penalty

    Hi there!

    Thanks for reaching out.

    You can create any metrics you want, including new “goal types” under SportsPress > Configure.

    There you can add penalty kicks, and for that matter you can even add anything you want there (faults, goal attempts, goals scored from far away, from faults and so on).

    In terms of stats, you could either:
    1) Treat the penalty kicks as a completely separate metric that won’t affect current stats (so it won’t have its own icon, for example
    2) Treat the penalty kicks as a part of the goals. So in your stats, for average goals you’d have (goals+pk)/events, instead of simply goals/events

    Great.
    at the end of the day I decided to write “pen.” in front of the minute of the goal scored.
    It’s enough for what I need.
