  • Have you tried GoMommy? Kidding.

    Does the visual editor load on other WordPress sites? Try WordPress.com or any of your friends’.

    I think some people who encountered the same problem have posted about it before. Not sure it they have been solved but really make me scratching my head, too.

    i have try with wordpress.com the visual editor works perfectly, so i bet its the problematic godaddy…. =(

    actually the visual editor is the source of 80% of the problems talked about on here, that cant be called user issues.

    Consider yourself lucky and move on ?? thats my advice!

    I have the same problem on israeli-wine.org

    I think the problem has something to do with the ads or godaddy (it works on freehostia but I would prefer to use Godaddy over Freehostia and I can’t get the domain working in Freehostia)

    If you’re using GoDaddy’s Free Hosting service, then Godaddy injects the following into any content generated by a .php page to display ads:

    </object></layer></span></div></table></body></html><!-- adsok -->
    <script language='javascript' src='https://a12.alphagodaddy.com/hosting_ads/gd01.js'></script>

    The injected code breaks the WYSIWYG TinyMCE visual editor (it’s javascript gets generated by tiny_mce_config.php). It’s possible to get the visual editor working, the steps involved are described here:
