GoDaddy issue with sub-directories & domain names
-
I recently have set up a word press blog hosted at https://www.tomjwallace.com/wordpress
I liked this idea so i wanted to buy a domain name for it, thus came https://www.frame9.net
after a few hours of talking to godaddy, it appears that wordpress can’t be hosted from a sub-directory of my hosting account. only the root directory. when attempting to go to https://www.frame9.net it points me to https://www.tomjwallace.com
switching index files for frame9.net shows that is correctly aliased with https://www.tomjwallace.com/wordpress
is there any solution to this? Perhaps editing the index.php ?
