GoDaddy Managed WordPress www issue

  • We have noticed that people who try to access our website using https://www.bhsh.com instead of just bhsh.com are getting an error of “Safari could not open the page because the server stopped responding.”

    GoDaddy tells us that WordPress is blocking it and there is nothing they can do. I find that hard to believe. Does anyone else have that issue?

    Did you check if there is a CNAME record for “www” in your domain configuration?

    To break down what romelir said further for you:

    Your problem is related to your domain.

    bhsh.com points to the IP address: 160.153.0.156

    www.bhsh.com points to a different IP address: 45.40.148.239.

    Since bhsh.com is working, you should make sure www.bhsh.com is also pointed to the same IP address 160.153.0.156 (A-record), or CNAME www to bhsh.com as already mentioned by romelir.
