• I’m having a lot of issues with godaddy the past year or so. My wordpress sites are just slow at times and very very slow on random times of the day. I mean I can’t even get into my admin since its trying to load over 5+ mins. And some of my sites don’t even load.

I’m willing to change to a different site but is it easy to do? I have no idea on how to do this. If someone can help me out that would be helpful.

And I really liked godaddy, many many years ago when they weren’t known. With all those ridiculous commercials more people have joined and their servers are just to loaded.

  • Did you try to contact their support?

Yes they told me to upgrade my hosting plan. Or they said it could be the themes I’m using. They said nothing is wrong on their end. This is normal response from them. “Nothing wrong from our end”

    Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the Twenty Eleven theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

    How large are these sites?

Not very big sites. For example, I’m working on 1 right now and it doesn’t have much content on it and the admin side sometimes gets so slow. And also with the site loading. I’m running a couple plugins buts thats it.

Did you try any of the steps I suggested above to see if there was any change in the load times?
