GoDaddy WP Managed site compatibility

  • Hello!
    I have 2 questions:
    1) I’m currently working on a GoDaddy-managed site for a client and have discovered that they do not install optipng. This means I’m having to shop for a new free optimization plugin. I wanted to see what you all used for pngs?
    2) When do you expect updates for compatibility to the most recent version of WP?
