I create the custom login page but it keeps going back to default. Then I noticed when I go to the custom URL page and refresh it’s still the default!

@naa986 I’ve deleted your offer to login to your user’s site. I’m am 100% sure you mean well but please never ask for credentials on these forums.

    https://www.ads-software.com/support/guidelines/#the-bad-stuff

Now for the why: The internet is a wonderful place full of very nice people and a few very bad ones. I’m sure everyone here is very nice however, by giving some ones keys to your house you are trusting they wont steal anything. Likewise the person who takes the keys is now responsible for the house FOREVER.

If something was to go wrong, then you the author may well legally become liable for damages, which they would not normally have been as their software is provided without warranty.

Please be aware that repeatedly asking for credentials will result in us escalating this to the plugins team.

It’s never necessary to do that. Here’s why.

There are many ways to get information you need and accessing the user’s site is not one of them. That’s going too far.

    You get the idea.

Volunteer support is not easy. But these forums need to a safe place for all users, experienced or new. Accessing their system that way is a short cut that will get you into real trouble in these forums.

@sterndata, I understand. That’s why I didn’t ask for admin credentials. I simply wanted to log in as a test user to see what happens.

Under NO CIRCUMSTANCES may you ask for a login of ANY type here.

That’s OK, I understand what you were probably requesting, Noor.
This happens even after I uninstalled the plugin!
Now I see the shortcode [wp_login_form] seems to be a default WordPress shortcode.
Putting it into a custom page basically makes the page ignore all the customization and defaults to the WordPresss standard login page.
I removed the page from my plugin cache and cloudflare cache. It still shows up as standard. I don’t have any redirects.
Here is the URL of the custom login page, if you’d like to test.

@machinelf, The link you shared is not coming from the plugin or its shortcode. It seems to be the default WordPress login page. However, the URL looks different. Are you using a plugin to change the default WordPress login URL?

And my problem went away. I think maybe I had to create a cache rule in Cloudflare. Sorry for the confusion and thanks for trying, Noor. I re-activated the plugin and it seems to work fine.
