Gone downhill

  • Used to be good but something happened to it. Checked lighthouse and gtmetrix this morning and got bad scores F (10% then switched theme from generatepress to Astra and got 18%)

    Deactivated litespeed cache and installed WP Fastest

    gtmetrix score is an A now (88%)

    Lighthouse was 35% on desktop and is now 84%

    The server is litespeed so I’ve always used litespeed cache and used to get good results.

    litespeed even showed up as one of the heavy resources slowing down the site. LOL

    I couldn’t agree more, Litespeed seems to be getting buggier and buggier everyday. I cannot get my head around how so many people are rating this plugin 5 stars. It has broken almost every website I manage and my Page Speeds are woeful now.

    Hopefully someone at Litespeed Cache is aware of the upcoming ‘Core Web Vitals’ update by Google in May and will have an Update for Litespeed Cache to address it.
