• The theme is simple and nice one for blogging but there are certain issues with the theme. The drop down menu button does not work with mobile and tab version and there is no way you can remove footer note “primer theme by godaddy” and change it to custom one as the code is hidden and not available on footer.php, main_templete.php or funtion.php. If these things are fixed/simplified then a very nice theme for blogging. Giving 3 stars and looking for alternative to this theme if thsese problems are not fixed.

  • Hey wpmicasa,

You can easily remove the credit section with a filter inside a plugin. (see: https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/editing-the-footer-11/)

The mobile menu button was fixed in v1.3.0 in Github (sorry we still need to publish this to www.ads-software.com). You can find the release here https://github.com/godaddy/wp-primer-theme/releases.

Let me know if that works for you,
    Jonathan

Thanks Jonathan Bardo, fixed both of the issues. It is working fine now. There is one more issue (not exactly one) which I am unable to fix. The search field is missing on the site, may be because of poor handling of setting from my side. If you could help in that too I would be delighted. Thanks again.

For me its now 5 (*****) star theme, simple and elegant. Will keep giving feedback/suggestion as I encounter problem/requirement.

Thanks to the developers @jonathanbardo and Github team who worked on it. Its my first website and will always remain thankful to the developers.

Fixed search field issue. It was indeed poor understanding/handling of settings!
Suggestion: Please do a video (demo) tutorial for the theme. It will help a lot for novices like us.

How do I change number of lines to show up (customize to my requirement) before the continue reading tab appears on the content area of the page?

The continue reading tag is not related to the theme at all and it is a default WordPress function inside tinyMCE.
