Good as a Very Basic SMTP Enable Options

    This is a good options if you just want to simply enable SMTP and not really worry about anything else.

    The main reason I would not use this plugin is because it doesn’t encrypt SMTP Auth Information. It leaves it in plain text in the WP admin interface as well as in the DB.

    If that doesn’t matter to you this is a good option.

  • You can use the “Use the PHP mail() function to send emails” option.
    WordPress uses this option by default.
