Good, but a few rough edges

The ability to import the first post image as the featured image has been added as an option in version 1.12.0. It should solve this problem.

> the option “Remove only new imported posts” did not work, (no deletions)
It removes only the posts that were imported with this plugin. If you want to remove all the posts, you must choose the option ?Remove all posts?.

> the option “Import the text above the read more….” did not work, (text went missing)
It works. When you choose this option, the text above the ?read more? is imported in the excerpt field. You can see it on the post edit screen using the Screen Options on the top right and checking Excerpt.

Can you give me an example? Do you try to import images larger than the PHP limit?

I don’t think there are pages on Joomla. There are only articles. Which version of Joomla do you use?

Featured image problem solved.
Remove only new posts is working today with 1.12.0. Maybe I didn’t do something right before.
Excerpts: yes, but shouldn’t the excerpt text also remain in the article(post)? My Joomla articles typically have an image and a paragraph before the read more, both of which should be visible.
I didn’t know there was a “PHP limit”. The images which didn’t make it were all over 330k file size.
You are right about pages. I misunderstood how Joomla works.
