I’m sorry to hear you ran into issues with email delivery!
In case it helps, I’ll share some details on why this happens and how to fix it:
As spam emails are becoming more common and ‘smart’, email providers are working harder to filter them out. Unfortunately, though, legitimate emails will sometimes get filtered out as well (either sent to spam or not delivered at all).
This issue can often be resolved by setting the From Email of your notifications (in the form builder under Settings > Notifications) to an email address that’s @yoursite.com. But if you don’t have a site-specific email, or would just like a more certain option, an SMTP is the way to go. An SMTP will authenticate your emails so that email providers understand they’re legitimate.
