Good but missing an obvious feature

  • The plugin should add a “pre-order” stock option, from what I can see neither the free or pro version provides this.

    When you create a pre-order item you have to either mark it as “in stock” which means it will show up as in stock on your store, esp if someone filters products by stock, pre-orders will be included which is not the correct functionality the end user will be looking for. Alternatively, you mark it as out of stock, in which case the product will have an out of stock badge on it, again not ideal.

    The semi acceptable this option is “back order” but then this throws in the “available on backorder” text notices across your shop and product pages as well as cart and checkout pages depending on your theme.

    Neither of these options fit the use case imo and this seems like a somewhat obvious oversight.

The one great thing about this community is a user like yourself who can contribute to improving free products for the WordPress community. It would have been more supportive if you had just outlined this feature request as a support topic and allowed us to create the feature for you. I think you would be surprised how many developers here would be willing to help you. We strive to take extra daily time to support free products for the WordPress community. We will create theis feature and hope you will reconsider the review.
