Good but sometime confusing settings

I like the plugin. It is however sometimes confusing where to do the settings. Yoast seems to need an authorisation code, but the google.html filoe is already in the root.
Some settings need to be done with Analytics Team, Others with Search Console.
But this is mostly a Google transpanancy problem I hope.
We use the plugin already for more then 15 sites and we like it.
