• First, to express my admiration to developers of this plugin. There is lot of hard work built in it. Realy, realy lot work. All the best to you, guys.
I have been using this plugin (free version) more than a year on 5 websites, went through a lot of tutorials and learned all little tricks about it, and must say it is realy thorough plugin. It served me good, but…
Last few months, it started becoming buggy, and with this plugin, who has zillion options, its not good thing to happend. Finding what is wrong, means lot of debugging and searching. So, one day I finaly lost my nerves and started exploring other similar plugins. Caching and speed was my priority and I started on lighter plugins with only that.
    Was I suprised!
I tested two most popular, and after few days found out that W3 Total Cache is pretty much slower then both of them!
They didnt have those zillion options (that I dont need) but where lot faster. After few days I changed W3 Total Cache on all websites and saw really speed change, and ravenue.

CONCLUSION: W3 Total Cache is actually ten plugins in one, and it means it is heavy. It is supposed to speed up your website, but its size realy make in its way. If you need all of those options install the plugin and enjoy, but if you need it just for speed… Try a few more plugins.
