Good, fast WordPress theme

We switched to Photofocus Pro from “Whizz Photography” theme, due to long-time poor performance issues. It took a little while to get some “kinks” worked out with Photofocus Pro, but now that we’re live, we absolutely LOVE the performance! Without _any_ performance optimizations at all, we’re getting 95-100% scores in GTMetrix and 98% desktop score in Google Pagespeed Insights. The mobile score is between 70-80. The theme required a bit more tinkering than I would have liked, but the sheer performance improvement outweighs the tinkering.

Now that the site is live, we’ll focus on mobile performance. Oh yeah, the support forum has been very good. Timely responses to ALL questions are the norm and the support folks do a good job of providing assistance.
