Good links to Etsy shop are reported as broken

The 403 HTTP status code indicates that the page cannot be accessed by BLC due to an authorization error. Can you please share the URLs that are listed in Broken Link Checker with 403 error so that we can check this issue further?

Unfortunately, it is, this is happening because they block the request from cURL:

https://monosnap.com/file/NIOBpggzdDIvVy28gG22vam0rB1kgb so even though the link works in the browser, when we request it via terminal or bot it will return invalid.

For the local engine, you can exclude them in the Link Checker > Settings, for the cloud we will report this to our developers.

We do exclude some providers by default https://wpmudev.com/docs/wpmu-dev-plugins/broken-link-checker/#scanned-skipped we reported to our developers about Etsy.

Is there a way not to exclude but to have something that allows this site to see the links? Any link can be broken, and this is a rather crucial thing, as this is our paid product. We would want the links to be checked and to know when to fix any truly broken ones.

This is a new problem. Is there a way aound it?

I’m afriad at the moment there is no workaround as Etsy is also blocking the cURL request from our side. I pinged our BLC Team what is the status of this request. We will post an update here as soon as more information is available.
