Good plugin

  • Everything is good. YouTube video, or playlist works fine.
    Something seems not to work very well is playlist that have pagination and unsigned SSL.
    I don’t have signed SSL and if I want to use this plugin, I have to disable SSL admin and login. (only FORCE_SSL_LOGIN set to true affect admin page too).

    Thanks for the great rating! Just to be clear to others viewing this: Playlists and galleries absolutely work well with any normal SSL, which is 99%+ of most people. (okvee happened to be using an unsigned, localhost specific SSL on his local computer).

    Not just localhost but on real server too.
    Not all share host can use signed SSL.
    Signed SSL is not cheap and that it is not for 99%+ of most people.

    I suppose we’re getting a little off topic, but hopefully this helps you: Unsigned SSL’s are also untrusted in modern browsers, which is why most people use signed ones on live sites (in Chrome, unsigned SSLs will likely generate a warning on your site). Signed domain validated SSLs can be pretty cheap these days (around $5 – $10 per year, much less than most hosting). If you’re interested in using a signed one when you go live (which is strongly recommended especially if you happen to be in e-commerce), ssls.com and many other sites have pretty good deals nowadays.
