Good Plugin

  • I’ve been looking for a plugin to customize access for user roles on my wp sites. This plugin is very easy to use but I have an issue with users not being able to edit categories. Other that that this plugin is just what I need.

    We glad you found Advanced Access Manager as easy to use plugin. I’m curious why do you have a problem with edit category permission? This is something new for us.

    When I setup the user and that user logs in the ability to edit the category/taxonomy is disabled. The box is there and the categories are showing, but the checkboxes are disabled. I’ve tried various setting but haven’t found a way to make it work. This is taxonomies on a custom post type, if that matters.

    Well I do not believe that this has anything to do with Advanced Access Manager. Your user does not have enough enough capabilities to edit taxonomies. Please take your time to read official WordPress documentation about Roles and Capabilities and I’m sure, you will find the way how to get it done with Advanced Access Manager ??
