Wordbook, good Plugin – a few suggestions

  • This is a great plugin. It worked the first time with no probs. A couple of comments:

    1. When I post something, I am getting two copies of the same posting in my mini-feed. Is this just me or do other users have this problem. The easy workaround is to just hide on the of the entries.

    2. I would be great if there was an option to show a little bit of the text (a teaser – maybe a few lines) in the Wordbook panel of postings. Could this please be a configurable option?

    Anyhow, well done. Awesome plug!

    I have seen this before, although rarely, and not consistently. I have heard of other reports. Until I have a way of consistently reproducing this problem for myself, I can’t do much about it.

    Do you consistently get double-posts to your Facebook account? Or just sometimes?

    Yes, I was consistently getting double posts any time I made a blog entry, with the exception of when I would schedule a blog to be published some time in the future. For some reason in the case of future scheduled blogs, only one entry was appearing in facebook like it should.

    HOWEVER, I am happy to say that when I upgraded to 2.3, I also upgraded to the newest version of the plugin and everything is solved. I was also delighted to see some “teaser” text with each of the blog titles to kind of lead people into what the blog is about.
