Good plugin at all but?

  • Well yoast is one of my favorite plugin since 2015 when i first started to use it. But some days ago i got a thin content penalty (media files) for this plugin too ( now fixed). And i have no idea why they disable no-indexing pagination system..This why i cant give 5 star anymore. If it two years ago i must give 5 star..

    We are sorry to hear you website was penalized by Google. Please, follow the suggestions given on this post to recover from the penalty. Basically, you’ll need to install the Search Index Purge plugin which makes all your attachment URLs return an HTTP 410 Content deleted status. The plugin will help you purge attachment URLs out of Google’s index as fast as possible. T

    On the other hand, we removed the feature to set the subpages to noindex in Yoast SEO Premium v6.3. You can refer to this article on why we made this decision and why we decided to have the subpages indexed – https://yoast.com/pagination-seo-best-practices/
