• It remains to fix some bugs of the free version like the pro version due to the following bug:

Warning: call_user_func_array() expects parameter 1 to be a valid callback, function ‘banhammer_remove_query_args’ not found or invalid function name in /home/lesnoticiesdense/public_html/wp-includes/class-wp-hook.php on line 303

Glad to help here in the review section.

Normally on default WordPress the Banhammer plugin is 100% error-free with zero PHP warnings or issues. But it always is possible for WP plugins (or even themes) to interfere with one another, which may be the case here.

I have tested Banhammer on default WordPress (version 5.8), and there is no such warning as reported. So a few things that you can try:

    1) Make sure the free version is not active before trying to activate the pro version. They both cannot be activated at the same time.

    2) Try completely removing the plugin (both free and pro versions), then download a fresh copy directly from the source and try again. It could be that there was an issue with installation process.

    3) If you can provide steps to repeat the issue on default WP install, it will enable me to investigate asap and try to resolve any issue.

    I hope this helps, @sergialarconrecio.

For anyone else reading, please be aware that this is the review section for the plugin, not meant for support requests. For anyone who needs help or has feedback, please follow the rules and post in the plugin’s support forum. Thank you.
