• This plugin does what it says it will do – and the Premium version is great for custom post types. I had hoped clients would be able to use this plugin to manipulate custom columns on the edit page, but it’s a bit too complex for that.
Be aware you must modify the functions file in order for WordPress to actually recognize the custom fields you want to add (relatively simple) – then this plugin allows you to do the nifty work of selecting how you want the content to display on the post edit page.
The only reason I give 4 stars and not 5 is I would like to see support for filtering by custom field built into this plugin.
    It’s an all-around great plugin!

    Alex,

Thank you very much for Custom Bulk/Quick Edit’s first review and testimonial.

I have hopes of getting better integration with other plugins like Advanced Custom Field and Types. However, I needed to get the core worked up and out first.

I can agree that custom field filtering would be good as well. However, I feel that it starts going beyond the intended scope of the plugin. As it is, I’m sad to see the custom configuration field having to be there, because that information already exists in code, but it’s not reasonably retrievable.

Then again, what do you mean by filtering?

Would you like to become a beta tester?
