Good plugin, missing some important features

I have a review site for books and art work in tarot/oracle decks. Being able to post images is crucial to any of my reviews and usually I want to post a lot without people having to scroll a tremendous amount.

Collages were the only way for me to go and I found Easy Image Collage to be exactly that: easy to use! You don’t have to be a computer wiz or WP-expert to be able to use it and there is a huge amount of pre-made collages readily available. I understand why some functions are in the premium version. Those choices were, as they aren’t always with plugin designers, very logical actually (as making your custom made collages or giving filters). It took me a couple of times before I realized which settings were ideal for my collages, but basically it is a rather intuitive and user-friendly plugin.

I however would like to see one important difference in the free plugin, because it is the reason I will always post at least 1 or 2 non-collage pictures, or are partially forced to it. And that is the fact that it is not possible to give the collage an ALT-text or description, important for SEO and for people who sometimes have pictures disabled. But it isn’t possible to set a caption either! I now use super/subscript, but sometimes WP (or my theme) creates whitespace in between, which isn’t pretty.
Those two annoy me a bit, because when used on a website they are super important. That was the reason to limit my review to 4 stars instead of giving you 4.

If you don’t care about that, I would definitely recommend this plugin…or maybe even if you *do* care about it. So far I have not found any that does a better job and I am also not really eager to look. It is doing a fine job. So please fix the ALT/description and I’ll rave about it ;-).
